Another quick fun project created from a trashed item I found on the side of the road. This was a desk drawer. Now it’s a functional coffee table tray! Inspiration for the design came from the nautical signal flags I’ve been using for the series I started a while back.
Below is the massive dresser I’m working on right now. I’m not using the quick drying chalk paint on this project. Instead I’m using Benjamin Moore Advance paint that is awesome but requires 18 hours of drying time between coats! So, in between drying time and being a wife and mom, I’m doing small fun projects like the drawer coffee table tray.

This is really cool. I just turned an old dresser drawer into a Monogrammed Family Wall Plaque. Swing by and check it out if you have a chance. Again, Great job!
Fabulous idea, I love the colors and the rope is perfect.
Hugs, Tanya

Have you used Advance paint before? Can’t wait to see what you think about it. I used it on a lot of my furniture and I still don’t quite know how I feel about it. The drying (and curing) time really drags out the process!
I’ve been loving all your nautical projects! This one is a winner too! And that dresser is going to be amazing I’m sure!
Hi Sharon: Thanks for the comment. I just finished that massive dresser and will post soon. Thanks again!
Very cool project! And I seriously LOVE the next piece on the agenda! So pretty! Can’t wait to see when its done!
Thanks for linking!
