This campaign dresser was completely transformed after the plinth base was replaced with new brass legs, polished original hardware, and high quality black paint.
The classic combination of black and warm walnut is one of the most requested color schemes from clients. The beautiful natural wood on these mid century dressers were uncovered then highlighted with dark gray.
This was a client’s piece that came to me with a white washed paint treatment. I stripped the finish off and refinished the drawers to a beautiful medium walnut color. The frame was painted black and hardware was updated.
