FRENCH DRESSER

A french style tallboy and long dresser were painted for a local customer who received these pieces from her grandmother.

SILVER AND GOLD TALLBOY

Second to mid century modern dressers, this paint technique is a favorite and the color scheme of layering silver and gold really appeals to me. I painted it with a 2" brush with a loose hand. With 80 grit sandpaper, I scratched away at the surface to achieve the perfect texture.

LANE MID CENTURY DRESSER AND NIGHTSTAND

When I saw this piece in its original form, I wasn't quite sure if I liked it enough to buy it. I'm glad I did because the bright white paint emphasizes the features that make this piece such a stunner. After sanding, prepping, priming, painting, and staining, this piece was ready, with its matching nightstand, to deliver to its new owner in Cambridge, MA.
