Layering Grays

Yesterday was the last day of school for my middle schoolers so summer is officially here and to kick it off, this gray dresser was picked up and is now on its way to its new home in the Caribbean. 

It was simply layered with two shades of gray then slightly distressed and sealed with Varathane water based polyurethane for a smooth silky finish. The knobs are from Anthropologie. They're so fantastic that I ordered over 100 of them in the various available colors!

Summer brings a slowdown for me as I spend more time with my three teenage kids. I'll also focus on developing a new line of art that will be available in the fall.
