Red Canada.

Canada. This buffet's homeland. It's been painted using the same colors and technique as Mammoth Red. Visit that post if you're interested in getting step by step instructions.

This was a quick transformation on a piece that had been previously painted by the seller. I didn't even take the time to sand down the many paint brush marks on the doors as you can see below. I kinda like the texture actually.

Before settling on red, I had painted it green and left it alone for a few weeks and then decided that the green wasn't quite right. The piece already feels "country" and the addition of green accentuated that style. I decided to swap out the comfy green for a sophisticated red. It's still comfy but now has a slight attitude, which I like.
