Black and White Mid Century Desk and Thoughts on Styling
Martha Leone
I must admit that styling these pieces is almost as fun as painting them. For this photo shoot, I chose objects that represent different types of work: a saw blade, a hammer, a wrench, cables, pages of a book, etc. In the background a calendar hangs, representing time, which is one of the ways we measure our efforts. Each object is made of the materials used to construct the desk: wood or metal (except for the glass container).
Materials
- General Finishes Milk Paint in Lamp Black and Snow White
- General Finishes High Performance Flat Topcoat
- 6" foam roller
